A Little Project.

One of my favorite books that I have purchased in the past year is Drawing Lab for Mixed Media Artists by Carla Sonheim. One of the Labs is entitled "100 Faces Project," and has prompted me to give it a go. Drawing people has never been one of my strengths. So, I will practice and remind myself I do not have to replicate every wrinkle, hair or freckle.

Here are #1 & #2

My first face is Mike Krzyzewski. Coach K is the coach of my most favorite basketball team. He began coaching at Duke when I was about 5 or 6 years old. He is now the winningest men's Division 1 basketball coach. The man is a coaching genius.
